Leodis: 400 Years of Leeds in the Leeds Libraries Collections

An exhibition at Leeds City Library exploring 400 years of Leeds history through the Leeds Libraries collections, part of the Leeds400 celebrations.

This display draws on the collections of Leeds Libraries to trace 400 years of the city's history, spanning 17th century manuscripts, rare maps, photographs, film footage, memoirs, newspapers, pamphlets, football fanzines and books. It highlights how the libraries have preserved historically significant archives for past, present and future generations. The exhibition forms part of the Leeds400 celebrations in 2026.
