About
An expert volunteer leads a relaxed beginner-friendly bird walk at Budby South Forest, looking and listening for the reserve’s winter birds.
There are no toilets at Budby, dogs are not permitted, and the uneven terrain is unsuitable for wheelchair users. The current RSPB location page says the lay-by is temporarily closed during remedial work and directs visitors to the Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre car park about one mile south; whether this closure continues on 14 November is not stated. The walk runs 09:00–10:30.
