Harewood House's 2026 Christmas experience, Magic at the Mansion, transforms the mansion with playful installations created with Studio McGuire.

Magic at the Mansion is Harewood's Christmas 2026 experience, created in partnership with the award-winning Studio McGuire. Visitors move through rooms where ceilings come to life, presents tell stories, portraits share secrets and choral surprises emerge from unexpected places, ending with a grand finale in the Servants' Room. New installations appear in every room, and visitors select a timed entry slot for the house while enjoying the grounds and gardens before and after. The house is closed on 25 and 26 December, with earlier closing on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
