Santa’s Grotto & Winter Fair

A festive afternoon at Windmill Gardens with Santa's grotto, Christmas choirs and music, mulled wine, children's crafts and wreath-making workshops.

Brixton Windmill's winter fair runs from 12 noon to 3.30pm, with Father Christmas greeting children in the windmill grotto from 1pm, each child receiving a small wrapped gift and a photo opportunity. Christmas choirs and music provide festive atmosphere while the cafe serves mulled wine, hot drinks and snacks, and the shop sells windmill-related gifts. Free children's arts and crafts take place in the Green Hut throughout the afternoon, and paid festive wreath-making workshops for ages 14+ run at 12.30pm and 2pm.
