Comics and Games

An illustrated talk and Q&A exploring the links between comics and video games, with the launch of a free comic on the subject.

This illustrated talk and Q&A explores the connections between comics and video games, two of Dundee's most prominent creative industries. It focuses on the relationship between storytelling and play, and past and possible future convergences between the two media. Aimed at the general public and anyone interested in storytelling, gaming and creativity, the event also features the launch of a free comic about comics and games. It forms part of the Being Human Festival, the UK's national festival of the humanities, running 5-14 November 2026.
