Dundee Tales

An illustrated talk on Dundee's history and culture, launching a preview of a new comic, Dundee Tales, with a Q&A for audience stories.

Professor Christopher Murray and Professor Daniel Cook of the University of Dundee deliver an illustrated talk on Dundee's history and culture, covering topics from its volcanic skyline and whaling docks to Mary Shelley's Frankenstein connection and the city's comics and games heritage. The talk accompanies the launch of a preview of a new comic, Dundee Tales, and attendees can meet the artists involved. A question-and-answer session follows, in which audience members can share their own stories about what makes Dundee special. The event is part of the Being Human Festival.
