Sunday Piano Series — Olga Zado

Ukrainian pianist Olga Zado plays Kolomiiets, Chopin and Schubert in an informal Sunday morning piano recital at the Royal Concert Hall.

Olga Zado opens with Maxim Kolomiiets's Bird of the Blue Night, written for her, before Chopin's tranquil Nocturne Op. 15 No. 2 and Schubert's expansive Sonata in B-flat major, D. 960. The Sunday Piano Series concerts are informal, introduced from the stage, and audiences can chat with the pianist in the bar afterwards. The concert runs about an hour with no interval, with doors at 10am.
