Sunday Piano Series — Madeleine Brown

Pianist Madeleine Brown performs Rameau, Ravel and Rachmaninov in an informal Sunday morning recital at the Royal Concert Hall.

Madeleine Brown, described as one of the most exciting pianists of her generation, gives a Sunday morning recital in the Royal Concert Hall's Sunday Piano Series. Her programme opens with dance pieces from Rameau's Suite in G major, moves through the impressionistic soundscapes of Ravel's Miroirs, and closes with Rachmaninov's epic Sonata No. 2 in B-flat minor. The performance is informal and introduced from the stage, lasting one hour with no interval, and audience members can chat with the pianist in the bar afterwards.
