What Steals Our Peace?
About
A meditation class exploring how to recognise the states of mind that disturb our happiness, part of an ongoing weekly series in Ashbourne.
This session examines why it can be difficult to stay peaceful and happy, drawing on Buddha's explanation that some states of mind bring happiness while others disturb our inner peace. The class looks at how negative minds act like a distorted mirror, affecting how we see ourselves, others and the world. Learning to recognise beneficial and non-beneficial states of mind is presented as the first step towards a more peaceful and happy life. The class is self-contained, requires no previous experience, and is taught by Rob Tice, a qualified meditation teacher at Tara International Kadampa Retreat Centre.
