The Thermal Revolution: The Danish Model, from Sauna Entertainment to Human Experience Design

A three-hour professional workshop exploring the Danish sauna model and experience design, led by Danish sauna masters during London Sauna Week.

This afternoon workshop examines how the Danish sauna scene has developed and what makes the Danish Model successful. Participants learn to design meaningful sauna experiences through ritual structure, thermal dosing, storytelling, music, essential oils, safety and guest engagement, with an introduction to the principles behind Thermal Architecture™️. Led by Danish sauna masters Anders Hage and Merete Dam and supported by Aromen, the session offers a Certificate of Participation as professional development, not a full Saunamaster certification. It forms part of London Sauna Week, running 15–25 October across London's saunas.
