LEARN-TO: Design with Hendrike Barz-Meltzer

A one-day jewellery design workshop with Hendrike Barz-Meltzer covering drawing, idea development and refining a pendant design.

This one-day course at FORGE teaches jewellery design skills through a low-tech approach of hand-drawing and model-making with paper, card and other materials. Participants work through the stages of the design process — visualising ideas, finding and refining concepts, and interpreting designs into materials — all focused on designing a single pendant. The day ends with a relaxed chat and mingle, and attendees leave with a pendant design ready to be made in their own time. Suitable for all skill levels.
