Wing it Impro presents: Gricers

An entirely improvised bittersweet comedy about two train-loving friends, performed by Wing it Impro as part of the Birmingham Improv Festival.

Gricers is an unscripted show billed as Detectorists meets Waiting for Godot, following two men, a flask of lukewarm tea and a shared love of trains, exploring quiet obsession and decades of male friendship. The performance combines improvised storytelling and characters with live DJing from Mike Burton, Mark Smith and Fergus Wynne. It forms part of the Birmingham Improv Festival 2026, with a festival pass available giving access to all shows across four days.
