Film: Music to Film/Sound Design

A half-term workshop for 11-19s exploring how sound design and music shape mood, emotion and impact in film, with hands-on practice using music software.

Young people aged 11-19 will explore the power of sound design and music in film, learning how sound influences mood, emotion, rhythm and the overall impact of a scene. The session covers the theory behind sound and music before participants put their learning into practice using current technology, music software and production techniques. It runs from 1pm to 5pm on 29 October 2026 as part of Spotlight's half-term programme.
