The Game & Film Score Lab - Composing & Sound FX Seniors

A hands-on half-term workshop for ages 12-16 composing music and recording sound effects for film, game and horror scenes using keyboards, DAWs and microphones.

Participants work with movie trailers, video game clips and Halloween scenes stripped of their original audio, creating entirely new soundtracks from scratch. Using keyboards, digital audio workstations and live microphones, they compose original music, record sound effects and sync everything to the on-screen action. The sessions run over two days during the October half-term, with no musical experience required. The activity is currently full, with a waiting list of ten places available.
