FFTB: Pan's Labyrinth with Introduction (15)

A screening of Guillermo del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth with an introduction from film scholar Dr Davina Quinlivan, part of The Poly's Films From The Board series.

This Films From The Board screening presents Guillermo del Toro's 2006 dark fantasy Pan's Labyrinth (El Laberinto Del Fauno), 119 minutes, in Spanish with English subtitles. The film follows 10-year-old Ofelia, who in post-civil war Spain is drawn into a mysterious labyrinth where a faun tells her she may be a lost princess and must complete surreal, perilous tasks. The screening is introduced by Dr Davina Quinlivan, an author and former film lecturer at Kingston School of Art. The film was chosen through the series' format, in which patrons suggest films via a chalk board in the cafe.
