Laser Engraved Stamp Making
About
A hands-on workshop at Maidstone Hackspace where participants design, laser engrave and take home their own custom rubber stamp.
This small-group workshop at Maidstone Hackspace guides beginners and crafters through making a custom rubber stamp. Over four and a half hours, participants explore examples of lino and laser-engraved stamps, create a design by hand, digitally or with AI support, engrave it into rubber, and mount it on a laser-cut handle. The session ends with testing the stamp with different inks, and everyone takes their finished piece home. Two instructors work with every four participants, and all materials, equipment and laptops are provided. Note the workshop is on the third floor, which has no lift access.
