Relaxed Early Opening

This event offers early access to the Great North Museum: Hancock for a quieter, more relaxed museum experience.

The session is designed for autistic visitors, those with learning disabilities, or sensory and communication disorders, or anyone seeking a quieter visit. Attendees gain access from 9am to 10am, before the museum opens to the general public. A free 15-minute planetarium show is also available upon sign-up at the Welcome Desk.
