About
Sound Down Sundays is a monthly event at Hexham Old Gaol where the museum reduces the sound levels in its exhibitions and displays.
This event takes place on the fourth Sunday of the month when visitor numbers are lower. During this time, the museum turns down the sound in its various exhibitions and displays. Visitors are welcome to drop in during the specified time slot. Ear defenders are also available for borrowing if needed.
