Myth, Magic and Mystery

A Halloween-themed children's experience at Tatton Park's Old Hall with a picture hunt, broomstick lessons, wand-making, spells, potions and a ghost story, for ages 7-11.

This Halloween event at Tatton Park's Old Hall invites children aged 7-11 to explore the grounds on a seasonal picture hunt learning about Samhain, take broomstick flying lessons, and make and personalise their own wand to take home. Participants then learn spells, mix potions and discover traditional herbs, before gathering around the ancient hearth for a ghost story inspired by the building's history. Sessions run partly outdoors and inside an unheated period building, and all children must be accompanied by an adult with everyone purchasing a ticket.
