Make woven coasters and cordage from natural local plant fibres.
Local basket maker Jane leads a relaxed workshop working with soft fibres including bulrush, crocosmia and local rush. The session explores simple weaving techniques and making cordage; materials are included in the course fee. Bring scissors or secateurs and a water spray bottle if available, wear covered shoes, and consider an apron or old clothes.
