Weekly Writers Group

An eight-week Monday evening writing group led by poet Cathi Rae, offering prompts, feedback and support for new and experienced writers.

This eight-week informal course meets on Monday evenings for writers of all experience levels. Each week the tutor sets a writing prompt shaped by participants' interests and needs, and the group completes a piece of writing such as poetry or a short story. Sessions also cover common writing problems and strategies to address them, with opportunities to share works in progress and receive feedback in a supportive environment. Participants must be 18 or over, and a complimentary notebook and pens are provided.
