Metalwork: Festive Winter Decoration
About
A three-hour evening metalwork workshop making festive decorations from copper and brass sheet using cold metalworking techniques.
Participants learn basic cold metalworking techniques to transform thin copper and brass sheet into unique festive decorations, such as a three-dimensional pinecone or festive foliage, to hang on the tree or decorate the home. Templates are provided, and people can bring their own autumnal foliage and cones as inspiration. The course also aims to leave participants confident to carry out basic metalworking safely at home. No previous experience is stated as required; sturdy shoes and natural-fibre clothing must be worn.
