Glowing Pumpkin Hoops – Kids Weaving Workshop

A Halloween craft workshop where children aged 4–11 weave glowing Jack-o'-Lantern designs on circular looms with tapestry artist Lucy Sugden.

Children aged 4–11 weave their own glowing Jack-o'-Lantern on a circular loom using orange wool and glow-in-the-dark yarn, learning circle-weaving techniques to build a pumpkin shape with a spooky or friendly face. The finished pieces work as wall or window hangings, and all materials are provided. Adults must accompany children, who may need some hands-on help. The workshop is led by woven tapestry artist Lucy Sugden, who works with recycled and upcycled fibres from her Letchworth Garden City studio.
