AI for Equity: who is it actually built for?

A fireside chat and book launch for AI for Equity with co-authors Jenny Garrett OBE and Leah-Sunshine Garrett, hosted by Carol Ann Whitehead.

Jenny Garrett OBE and Leah-Sunshine Garrett, mother and daughter co-authors of AI for Equity (Emerald Publishing), appear in a fireside chat hosted by Carol Ann Whitehead under the Portico dome. The discussion explores who AI systems are actually built for, drawing on the book's stories of refugees, teachers and communities building tools for themselves. The event is aimed at people working in HR, health, schools, councils and tech, as well as founders and students, with no prior AI knowledge required. Books will be on sale and signed on the night for £19.99.
