Bookbinding: Paper Magic!
About
A fully booked one-day bookbinding and paper-craft workshop at The Portico Library making a magic wallet, Turkish map fold, pop-up card and decorative clip board.
Led by Barry Clark, this hands-on workshop teaches participants to make a range of ingenious paper items: the milkman's Magic Wallet, the Turkish Map Fold for presenting images in a compact format, a pop-up invitation or greetings card, and a decorative clip board for shopping lists. The session runs from 10am to 4pm and includes materials, tuition, tea and coffee on arrival and a sandwich lunch. Glue is used, so a protective apron is recommended, and the items made could serve as unique Christmas gifts.
