October Workshop: Costume Design

A half-term costume design workshop for ages 11–16 exploring Dracula-inspired Victorian costume through sketching, mood boards and fabric draping.

This half-term workshop invites 11–16 year olds into the eerie Victorian world of Dracula to design costumes that capture its ghostly mood. Participants explore silhouette, texture and colour to evoke character and atmosphere, from mourning dress to shadowy veils. The session covers concept sketches and mood boards, experimenting with fabric samples and up-cycled materials, and draping ideas on mini mannequins to test shapes and details. It runs 10am–12:30pm on Tuesday 27 October 2026.
