Forest Bathing+ | Start the Year with Breathing Space
About
A two-hour guided winter forest bathing session in King's Wood, Challock, with slow walking, sensory invitations and relaxation practices.
Ramblewood hosts a winter Forest Bathing+ session rooted in the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, guided by certified guide Tanya Child. Over two unhurried hours in King's Wood, a small group of up to ten people walks slowly and quietly through the winter woodland, following gentle sensory invitations to notice sights, sounds, scents and textures, alongside breathing and relaxation practices. There is no set distance to cover and no pressure to talk; the session aims to reduce stress and lift mood, with time for stillness and tips for bringing closer connection with nature into everyday life. Participants should wrap up warmly and wear sturdy footwear, and parking costs £4 for four hours.
