In the Footsteps of Mudlarks: Tue 3 November 2026, Blackfriars

A two-hour guided archaeology walk on the Thames foreshore at Blackfriars exploring the river's history through the eyes of mudlarks.

Thames Explorer Trust leads this guided tour along the Thames foreshore at Blackfriars, where participants spend two hours with an archaeology guide learning about mudlarking and the river's past. Visitors are asked to take only photographs and memories, not artefacts, and are encouraged to bring a camera or smartphone, plus a ruler and notebook. The tour is suitable for adults and children aged eight and over.
