In the Footsteps of Mudlarks: Saturday 28th November 2026, Limehouse

A guided foreshore session at Limehouse where participants search for archaeological artefacts revealed by the Thames.

Thames Explorer Trust leads a session on the Thames foreshore at Limehouse, where participants can look for archaeological artefacts such as smoking pipes, pottery and bones uncovered by the river. The walk meets outside the Yurt Cafe at St Katharine's Precinct before heading down stone steps to the foreshore. Proceeds support the trust's schools' programmes. Children aged 8 and over are welcome when accompanied by an adult, with a maximum of two children per adult.
