Professional workshop: Introduction to social enterprise—running yourself as a business

A one-day professional workshop for theatre-makers and artists on understanding social enterprise, business planning and creating an action plan.

Part of acta's Elevate programme for socially engaged theatre-makers, this workshop explores what a social enterprise is, guides participants through creating a simple business plan and budget, and helps them map their journey and leave with an action plan. While focused on theatre practitioners, other artists are welcome to benefit. Some sessions on the Elevate term are opened up for general booking, and support is available if the price is a barrier.
