About
Volunteer conservation days remove birch from Drumburgh Moss bog to help maintain its condition.
Volunteers remove birch from areas of the bog to help keep it in good condition. The work area can be up to a 30-minute walk across wet, tussocky ground, so comfortable waterproof footwear is necessary. The reserve is exposed; bring spare layers and waterproofs. Dogs are not permitted and there are no toilet facilities. The event is at Drumburgh Moss, but the precise meeting point may vary; check the booking confirmation. Booking is required by email.
