Aurora: Illustrated Talk by Nick Jones

Artist Nick Jones gives an illustrated talk on the Arctic journeys behind his aurora and optical phenomena paintings, with exhibition viewing and finger buffet.

The evening opens with a chance to view Nick Jones's exhibition of aurora and Arctic optical phenomena paintings from 7pm to 7.30pm, followed by a finger buffet. The artist then gives an illustrated talk on the stories and Arctic journeys behind the work, including trips to Finnish Lapland in search of the Northern Lights and his 2018 residency in Greenland and Baffin Island. The talk accompanies the two-gallery Aurora exhibition at Nature in Art.
