Botanical Printmaking

Transfer plant patterns onto paper and fabric through print experiments, fabric preparation and steaming.

Artist and nature enthusiast Liz Gaffney leads a day of botanical printing on paper and fabric. Participants test plant imprints, prepare fabrics and use steaming methods to make prints, with materials provided. You may bring a small selection of plants from your garden or local area to experiment with. Tea and coffee are provided; bring your own lunch and utensils. The class is aimed at people over 16. Younger crafters may be accommodated with a participating adult; contact the school before booking.
