Gelli Plate Printmaking Workshop
About
A full-day Gelli plate printmaking workshop with artist Frances Ryan at the Scottish Craft School in Dunblane.
Artist Frances Ryan leads a day-long workshop teaching mono-printing with gel plates, exploring layered colour, printed texture, cut and torn stencils, found-object textures and image transfer from magazine photographs. Participants leave with experimental papers for use in other crafts such as bookbinding, card making or collage, plus unique prints for framing or gifting. All tools and materials are provided, tea and coffee are supplied, and participants bring their own lunch. The class is suitable for over-16s, with younger crafters welcome if accompanied by a participating adult.
