Marbling on Paper and Fabric

Try traditional marbling on paper and fabric with inks, a prepared water bath, brushes, droppers and handmade tools.

Shona teaches traditional marbling with acrylic inks in a thickened water bath. Participants test different application tools and make individual patterns on paper and fabric. Paper and materials are supplied; you may bring a book to dip its page edges, but choose one you do not mind getting wet because pages can be damaged. Tea and coffee are provided; bring your own lunch and utensils. The class is aimed at people over 16. Younger crafters may be accommodated with a participating adult; contact the school before booking.
