About
A multi-part training programme for primary teachers moving from mainstream classroom teaching to a specialist teaching role in a mainstream school.
Run by OTSA, this course supports primary teachers transitioning from a mainstream classroom role to a more specialist teaching role within a mainstream school, such as resource bases and enhanced pathways supporting children with complex SEND needs. The programme comprises three face-to-face sessions, three virtual sessions and a school visit, with attendance at all sessions encouraged. The first session takes place at Rose Hill Primary School on 12 November from 3:45pm to 4:45pm.
