Space to create: A room of your own
About
A drop-in family workshop at the Brontë Parsonage Museum making and decorating mini models filled with creative writing inspired by home and the Pennine landscape.
This interactive drop-in session invites participants to build their own mini models inspired by Lumb Bank and the Parsonage, then decorate and fill them with creative writing. Drawing on the Brontës, Ted Hughes and other poets who wrote about home and the Pennine landscape, the session explores ideas of belonging and place. Led by writers Liz Flanagan and Angela Clare, it runs 2–4pm, is suggested for ages 5+ with under-16s accompanied by an adult, and all materials are provided with no prior experience needed.
