Gregory and Peti’s Creature Trail
About
A family creature trail around Canterbury Cathedral discovering animals in stone and stained glass, part of the Beasts of the Bayeux half term programme.
As part of the Cathedral's Beasts of the Bayeux half term programme, children follow the Creature Trail to find animals carved in stone and shown in stained glass around the building. The trail links to the Bayeux Tapestry theme, which features over 750 animals and is thought to have been made by embroiderers in Canterbury. Visitors can also see the free-to-view exhibition Smashed, Bombed, Lost - Recovered. Activities are included with a valid Cathedral Admission Ticket, Cathedral Pass or Friends' Card, with kids going free.
