About

A rare public opening of the Cathedral's hidden Archdeaconry Garden with gardening talks from the Cathedral team and a family bug-hotel building activity.

Canterbury Cathedral opens its rarely accessible Archdeaconry Garden to the public for one autumn afternoon. Visitors can explore the hidden garden and hear gardening talks from the Head Gardener and Gardening Team, with tips for looking after their own gardens. A bug-hotel building activity using materials from the Cathedral gardens runs alongside, and all ages are welcome. Entry is via The Cloisters, and there is no level access to the garden.
