Beth Taylor and Hamish Brown – Lunchtime Recital

Mezzo-soprano Beth Taylor and pianist Hamish Brown present a recital exploring themes of the sea, myth, and memory.

The program travels through more than a century of music, using the sea as both a landscape and a metaphor. It features works ranging from traditional Orkney folksong to pieces by Rebecca Clarke and Dame Ethel Smyth. The concert will be signed by British Sign Language interpreter Paul Whittaker.
