Distilled: Mozart's Clarinet Quintet

A Distilled chamber concert at the Howard Assembly Room featuring players from the Orchestra of Opera North performing Mozart's Clarinet Quintet alongside works by Corigliano and Françaix.

Players from the Orchestra of Opera North perform Mozart's Clarinet Quintet, one of the earliest and best-known works written for the clarinet, in an up-close chamber setting with commentary from the performers. The programme also includes John Corigliano's Soliloquy for the same ensemble and Françaix's Divertissement, which places the bassoon centre stage with strings. The HAR bar opens at 12pm with drinks and street food before the 3pm concert.
