Project Apollo (1971-72) – Resumption, Science, Legacy (also online) – GI 26 202

A three-hour course with Craig Underwood on the resumption of lunar exploration from Apollo 14, the cancelled missions and Apollo's legacy, in person and online.

This daytime course examines the final phase of the Apollo programme, from Apollo 14's resumption of lunar exploration through the use of the Lunar Roving Vehicle from Apollo 15 onwards. It considers why Apollos 18, 19 and 20 were cancelled as NASA shifted focus to the Space Shuttle, and assesses Apollo's final legacy. The session runs 2–5pm and takes place in person and online simultaneously.
