Workshop | Figure Drawing in Colour

A full-day life drawing workshop with artist Wendy Barratt exploring figure drawing in colour using pencil and pastel, inspired by Barbara Hepworth.

Award-winning artist Wendy Barratt leads a full-day workshop on capturing the human figure, working from a life model through guided exercises in mark-making, shape and form. Participants use pencil and pastel, drawing inspiration from Barbara Hepworth's practice, and visit the Barbara Hepworth and Greece exhibition during the day. Suitable for all levels including complete beginners, the session ends with a series of studies and a finished Hepworth-inspired figure drawing to take home.
