Sensory Awareness

A half-day training course for care staff and healthcare professionals on supporting people with sensory impairments.

This three-and-a-half-hour in-person training session is designed for care staff, healthcare professionals and social care workers who support individuals with sensory impairments. Topics include understanding sensory impairment, the five senses, visual and hearing impairments, deafblindness, other sensory impairments and developing person-centred care plans. Participants gain practical strategies to improve communication, foster independence and create safe, inclusive environments.
