Sound Bath
About
A one-hour sound bath at Monton Unitarian Church led by qualified sound healer Pauline Smit, using bowls, gongs and percussion to guide deep relaxation.
Pauline Smit Healing hosts a group sound bath in Monton Unitarian Church, guiding participants from a waking state into relaxed alpha and theta brainwave states. The session opens with voice-guided relaxation, followed by instruments including chimes, rattles, bells, rain sticks, ocean drums and hand drums, then crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls and gongs for the healing phase. It closes by guiding attendees back with gentler instruments and a period of silence for the vibrations to settle. Attendees should bring their own mat, blanket and pillow; doors close at 7pm sharp and latecomers are not admitted.
