Spinner Ring Workshop

A full-day jewellery workshop with Leith Jewellery Studios where participants design and craft their own silver spinner ring.

Leith Jewellery Studios lead a full-day workshop at the Drill Hall in which participants design and craft their own spinner ring, also known as a worry or fidget ring. Attendees make a wide textured silver band using hammers or the rolling mill, plus one or two thinner spinning bands that glide around the base. Techniques covered include sawing, annealing, forming, shaping, soldering and polishing, and all materials, including silver, are provided.
