Silver Sea Glass Rings

A two-day beginners' workshop at Central Scotland School of Jewellery making silver rings set with foraged sea glass.

This two-day weekend course at the Central Scotland School of Jewellery in Dunblane teaches beginners how to make a silver ring set with sea glass. Participants learn core jewellery techniques including sawing, drilling, filing and soldering, then texture a base to fit their chosen piece of glass and frame it in a simple bezel (rub-over) setting. Tools, silver and a selection of sea glass are provided, though attendees may bring their own stone; everyone leaves with a completed ring.
