About

A coach visit to Penshurst Place and Gardens in Kent, with guided tours of the house and gardens, lunch and refreshments included.

This Guildford Institute coach visit takes in Penshurst Place, a Kent estate with over 650 years of history, once a hunting lodge for Henry VII and home to the Sidney family since 1552. Visitors receive tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival, a guided tour of the house, and a hot lasagne lunch (meat or vegetarian, with gluten-free options on request). The afternoon includes a garden tour plus time to explore the toy museum and gift shop. Note there are 28 steps to access the house.
