Ghusl Workshop

A practical workshop on the rulings and procedures of Ghusl (ritual purification of the deceased), with separate women's and men's training sessions.

This three-hour workshop at Cambridge Central Mosque teaches the essential rulings and correct physical steps of performing Ghusl, the full ritual ablution for the deceased, alongside its spiritual significance. Training is split by gender: Dr Shameela Islam-Zulfiqar leads the women's session and Nasar Ishfaq the men's. Afterwards, attendees may join volunteer groups supporting the mosque's funeral care and Ghusl services. All are welcome, with advance registration required.
