Egyptian Street Food Masterclass

A hands-on evening cookery class with Soha Darwish exploring Egyptian street food classics such as koshari, besarah and Om Ali dessert.

Soha Darwish, an Egyptian food writer and culinary consultant, leads a three-hour hands-on class covering the dishes, spices and traditions of Egyptian street food. Participants cook a menu of koshari, besarah, Alexandrian beef sausages, Egyptian green salad and the warm dessert Om Ali, whose history is shared during the session. All ingredients, equipment and aprons are provided, and the class ends with a shared meal accompanied by wine or soft drinks; attendees must be over 18.
